Crowns, Bridges and Dentures

Dental BridgeCrowns are often used to restore broken teeth or teeth that have been weakened by large areas of decay. Gold crowns have been the standard for many years, and can still be an excellent choice in non-aesthetic areas. The latest approach in dentistry involves the use of metal free crowns. These provide a more natural appearance without sacrificing strength or longevity. While these can be used in some shorter span bridges, they are more commonly used in single crowns.

Bridges are an excellent way to replace missing teeth without using removable appliances. They can be a more economical alternative to implants, especially in the case of multiple missing teeth. We will be happy to discuss the pros and cons of bridges vs. implants for your unique situation.

While our goal is to save our patients teeth whenever possible, some dental conditions make the need for complete or partial dentures necessary.
